From Phil, Fisheries Management Biologist

As the water temperatures begin to warm customers should begin to notice more activity from their fish. WLPR biologists have been noticing an increased fish activity in the last few days. Largemouth bass and bluegills have been seen in the shallows preparing their spawning beds. Customers should pay close attention to the number and size of fish they are seeing. If you notice abundance of small fish or not as many fish as you expect please call and let us know. We would be more than happy to come out take a look or we can help you place a fish order for this spring or fall.
