2018 – Ready for Water
This property owner originally came to Wisconsin Lake & Pond Resource in mid December 2017. The vision at the end of the tunnel was to bring a typical campground pond to their backyard, without visiting a campground like they had typically done each weekend in the past.
This recreational swim pond ended up being a little over 1/4 acre in size, and is located in Southcentral WI. Wisconsin Lake & Pond Resource worked hand in hand with the property owner’s excavator to ensure the site was prepared correctly for a synthetic liner. There is one overflow “boot” that WLPR installed to seal the pipe penetration in the liner.
The subgrade was primarily rock and sandy clay, so we installed an underlayment protection for the liner. This pond will be used primarily for swimming and cooling off on a hot summer day, and has a diffused air system with our Bio-Feed Metering System to promote great water quality.
