The homeowners originally met with WLPR staff with an idea they had to build a pond. Upon touring our corporate pond, they concluded they wanted something very similar. During excavation, the contractor ran into significant bedrock. They were able to keep digging through the bedrock but needed to line the entire site with sand. In the end, we were able to install just over a 1/2 acre pond that is stocked with fish. The pond is also a significant wildlife attraction since there are very few watering holes on top of the ledge where the pond sits. This is of great value for the serious deer hunter!
