Do I need a pond liner?
Synthetic pond liners primary purpose is to provide water containment when porous soil conditions exist and/or there is not a natural water source such as a sufficient spring or ground water. Porous soils consist of sand, gravel, and silt. If you believe your soil will not hold water due to these conditions you will want to consider utilizing a synthetic liner.
